Good Practice in Partnership Working

There follows examples of faith communities working in partnership with other agencies in England's Northwest.

Faiths4Change (formerly Operation Eden)

Operation Eden, a unique community environmental initiative in Liverpool which received substantial government funding has now been rolled out across the whole of the NW region as Faiths4Change. Partnership working has been a key feature of EDEN which supported projects delivered with Anglican, Roman Catholic and Methodist churches and organisations such as the Big Issue in the North, Asylum Link Merseyside and Primary Care Trusts. One feature of the new project based in the significantly more diverse areas of Preston, Burnley and Manchester, is greater engagement with minority faith communities.
