Programme Manager for Faith Organisations Becoming Visible.

FbRN UK is the leading national multi faith network for community development, regeneration and social action. Our new Programme to develop a quality assurance framework for faith based organisations, needs a manager. You will have experience in faith based community development, regeneration or social action and knowledge of good governance and best practice in community led organisations.

This post is 28 hours per week and the salary is £30,000 - £33,000 pro rata based on 35 hour week. There is also a non-contributory pension. This is a part time post for the eighteen months of the Programme. Office base in London

FbRN needs a new Hindu Trustee

The Faith Based Regeneration Network UKis seeking to appoint a new Trustee from the Hindu faith tradition. FbRN UK is the leading national multi faith network for community development, regeneration and social action. Established in 2002, it has one Trustee from each of the nine faith traditions: Baha'i, Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, Jain, Jewish, Muslim, Sikh and Zoroastrian.

FbRN brings together community development, regeneration and social action practitioners from across faith traditions for sharing good practice and communicating with policy makers.

FbRN encourages faith groups to get involved in local regeneration and social action initiatives and partnerships, building their capacity to do this. It also provides an interface between the various levels of decision making, from national strategic policy to grass roots action. A central aim is to build a shared and evolving learning culture which facilitates the economic, cultural, social and spiritual sustainability of individuals and communities. The person specification for Trustees includes; they must be of good standing within their own faith tradition, have a commitment to the aims and objectives of FbRN and good, independent judgement.
